Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized consultations and bespoke product recommendations that meet individual client needs and preferences.
• Demonstrate deep product knowledge and educate clients on usage, benefits and application techniques.
• Remain current on beauty trends, product launches and techniques to ensure relevant, up-to-date advice.
• Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding individual targets and key performance indicators.
• Support store merchandising, inventory duties and maintain a clean, organized and inviting retail environment.
• Promote an inclusive, team-oriented atmosphere and adhere to Sephora Canada policies to ensure a safe, secure shopping experience.
• Maintain reliable attendance and availability during peak retail times including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment with a demonstrable ability to deliver excellent service.
• Genuine passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging a diverse clientele.
• Collaborative team player who thrives in a goal-oriented environment.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to work standing for extended periods.

Skills

Experience

Entry-level role. Prior retail, hospitality or client-facing experience is preferred and candidates should demonstrate the ability to build client relationships and deliver high-quality service.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; cosmetology, makeup artistry, or beauty certification is an asset.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.85 to CAD 23.55 per hour.
