Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to clients to drive confidence and repeat business.
- Demonstrate product expertise by educating clients on formulas, application techniques, and suitability for different skin tones and needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, product launches, and merchandising standards to keep recommendations relevant.
- Drive sales performance and meet or exceed individual KPIs through effective client engagement and upselling.
- Support inventory management, visual merchandising and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment and uphold Sephora Canada’s service and safety standards.
- Adhere to flexible scheduling requirements, maintain punctuality and reliable attendance, and be available for peak retail periods (nights, weekends, holidays).
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or another client-facing environment with demonstrated customer service skills.
- Genuine passion for beauty, cosmetics, and current industry trends.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly with diverse clientele.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative, goal-driven mindset.
- Rapid learner with the ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform typical retail duties for the length of a shift.
- Reliable availability for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail, hospitality or client-facing experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.20 to CAD 21.40 per hour.
