Sephora Stockton (Lincoln Center) seeks a Beauty Advisor (Flex) — part-time hourly role $20.85–$23.98/hr delivering personalised client consultations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized in-store beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations that address each client’s needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate clients on application techniques and product benefits.
  • Remain current on beauty trends, product launches and merchandising priorities to provide relevant, expert advice.
  • Drive sales performance and key metrics by converting consultations into purchases and meeting/exceeding individual KPIs.
  • Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards; support inventory processes and ensure a clean, welcoming selling environment.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture and uphold company policies to ensure a safe and positive client experience.
  • Maintain flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays, and meet required minimum weekly shifts for the Flex schedule.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding client service in a retail, hospitality or client-facing environment (previous beauty retail experience preferred).
  • Genuine passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident; ability to learn and share product knowledge quickly.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
  • Team-oriented mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, goal-driven retail environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality; availability for peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
