Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Stay current with beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant, contemporary advice.
- Meet and exceed sales goals and key performance indicators through consultative selling and relationship building.
- Support store operations including inventory handling, merchandising, stock replenishment and loss prevention.
- Maintain a clean, organized and visually compelling sales floor consistent with brand presentation standards.
- Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team culture and uphold Sephora policies to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Adhere to flexible scheduling requirements and maintain punctuality and reliable attendance during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
Qualifications
- Previous customer‑facing experience in retail, hospitality or a client service environment preferred.
- Passion for beauty, trends and a demonstrable desire to empower client confidence.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, goal‑oriented environment.
- Comfort with physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Availability for flexible scheduling and peak retail hours; ability to meet required minimum weekly shifts/hours.

Experience
Entry‑level role; prior experience in retail or client‑facing settings is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate strong customer service aptitude and an enthusiasm for beauty.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetology, esthetics or beauty certifications are a plus.
