Sephora Richmond, VA is hiring a Beauty Advisor (Flex): part-time cosmetics consultant, hourly pay $18–$20.50.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored, consultative beauty services and product recommendations to individual clients to build loyalty and drive repeat business
- Demonstrate product knowledge across makeup, skincare, fragrance and beauty tools to educate and empower clients
- Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and client follow-up
- Maintain merchandising standards, assist with inventory management, and ensure a clean, organised and inviting sales floor
- Stay current on industry trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture and uphold store policies to ensure a safe, welcoming client experience
- Be punctual and meet minimum weekly scheduling requirements, with availability for nights, weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Previous customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality, or a client service environment preferred
- Demonstrable passion for beauty, trends and product knowledge
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a goal-oriented team
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Availability to meet required minimum weekly shifts/hours (Flex: 4–14 hrs/week) and to work peak retail hours

Entry-level. Previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-focused setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
