Sephora (North Hills, Raleigh) seeks a Beauty Advisor - Flex. Part-time hourly role; $18.00–$20.50/hr. Client-facing retail position.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised beauty consultations and bespoke product recommendations that meet each client’s needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise and educate clients on makeup, skincare and fragrance to empower informed purchases.
  • Remain current on category trends, new launches and application techniques to provide relevant, trend-forward advice.
  • Drive sales performance against store KPIs and contribute to achieving individual and team targets.
  • Support merchandising, inventory management and stock replenishment to maintain an organised, compelling sales floor.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming client environment and adhere to company policies and loss-prevention practices.
  • Foster an inclusive, team-oriented atmosphere that reflects Sephora’s values of diversity and belonging.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience providing excellent client service in retail, hospitality or other customer-facing environments.
  • Passion for beauty, product discovery and current trends across makeup, skincare and fragrance.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative approach to selling.
  • Reliable availability for required shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays; punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to meet minimum weekly scheduling requirements for a flexible role (typical Flex: 4–14 hrs/week).
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
