Sephora Canada seeks a Beauty Advisor (Flex) in Ottawa to deliver personalized consultations and drive sales. Hourly CAD $18.20–$21.40.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and make tailored product recommendations to meet each client’s needs and objectives.
- Demonstrate product expertise through in-store tutorials, live demonstrations and one-to-one client education.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Achieve individual sales targets and KPIs through consultative selling and clienteling behaviors.
- Support merchandising, inventory control and visual standards to ensure a clean, organized and compelling sales floor.
- Contribute to an inclusive team environment and uphold company policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated customer-service skills from retail, hospitality or other client-facing roles.
- Passion for beauty, cosmetics and current trends, with a strong desire to share product knowledge.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable availability for peak retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing/retail duties for extended periods.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level; prior experience in retail or a client-facing environment is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to build client relationships and deliver excellent service.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant vocational or beauty certifications are an asset.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.20 to CAD 21.40 per hour.
