Sephora Canada seeks a Beauty Advisor (Flex) in Ottawa, ON — part-time hourly role at CAD$18.20–21.40/hr for client-focused beauty specialists.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised in-store beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product use and application techniques to educate and empower clients across makeup, skincare and fragrance categories.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and client follow-up.
- Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, organised, and inviting sales floor.
- Stay current with beauty trends, brand launches and category developments to provide relevant advice and inspire repeat business.
- Contribute to an inclusive team environment, supporting colleagues and upholding Sephora Canada policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional client service in a retail, hospitality or client-facing environment.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable consulting one-on-one and in small groups.
- Passion for beauty, trends and product knowledge with a willingness to learn and share expertise.
- Availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays; dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing, bending, and product demonstrations for extended periods.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level; previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-focused environment is preferred but not required. Demonstrable customer service and sales aptitude will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.20 to CAD 21.40 per hour.
