Sephora in Los Angeles seeks a Beauty Advisor (Flex). Part-time, hourly $22.60–$27.70 — deliver personalized beauty consultations and drive sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations that address each client’s needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
  • Stay current with beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
  • Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding individual sales goals and key performance indicators.
  • Support merchandising, inventory processes and visual standards to maintain a clean, organized and inviting sales floor.
  • Uphold company policies and contribute to a safe, welcoming shopping environment that reflects Sephora standards.
  • Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays to support peak retail operations and ensure required weekly shift minimums are met.

Qualifications

  • Passion for beauty and a demonstrable interest in current trends and product innovation.
  • Previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment preferred; demonstrated ability to build client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Team-oriented mindset and comfort working in a collaborative, high-volume retail environment.
  • Reliable punctuality and availability to meet scheduling requirements (including nights, weekends and holidays).
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
