Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to create exceptional client experiences.
- Demonstrate expert product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, organized sales floor.
- Stay current with beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to keep advice relevant.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture and adhere to Sephora Canada policies to ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment.
- Be available for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends and holidays, and maintain punctuality and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- Previous customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a client-focused environment; demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships.
- Passion for beauty, trends and client empowerment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative, goal-driven mindset.
- Ability to learn quickly and translate product knowledge into client advice.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level; previous retail, hospitality or other client-facing experience is preferred and will be considered an asset.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.20 to CAD 21.40 per hour.
