Sephora (NY-Harlem) seeks a Beauty Advisor - Flex in Harlem, NY. Hourly $21.75–$24.88; part-time/flex retail role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations that align with each client's needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate clients to empower repeat business.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, ingredient innovations and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding store KPIs and individual sales targets.
- Support store presentation: merchandising, inventory control, stock replenishment and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture and uphold Sephora’s operational and safety standards.
- Work flexible shifts and maintain punctuality and reliable attendance during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
Qualifications
- Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or other service-oriented environments preferred.
- Demonstrable passion for beauty, trends and client empowerment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and retain product knowledge quickly and to convey it clearly to clients.
- Capacity to handle physical aspects of the role, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to meet the minimum weekly shift requirement for flex hours and to work peak retail times.

Entry-level role; prior retail or hospitality experience preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong customer-service aptitude and the ability to build client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
