Sephora Canada is hiring a Beauty Advisor (Flex) in Chatham, ON. Part‑time hourly role — CAD 18.20–21.40/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised consultations and product recommendations that address each client's needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise and educate clients on application techniques, ingredients and routines to build loyalty.
- Drive sales performance by achieving individual and store KPIs, including conversion and average basket value.
- Maintain merchandising standards, manage inventory tasks and ensure a clean, organized and inviting sales floor.
- Stay current on beauty trends, product launches and brand stories to ensure relevant, up‑to‑date advice.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture, uphold company policies and ensure a safe, welcoming client experience.
- Work flexible shifts during peak retail hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) and maintain punctual, reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality or a client‑facing role preferred; strong customer‑service orientation.
- Passion for beauty products, trends and a desire to empower clients through personalised advice.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proven ability to learn product knowledge quickly and to share information clearly with clients and colleagues.
- Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required by store scheduling.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform retail floor duties reliably.

Experience
Entry‑level; previous retail, hospitality or client‑facing experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary training in cosmetology, aesthetics or a beauty discipline is an asset.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.20 to CAD 21.40 per hour.
