Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized in-store consultations and product recommendations to meet individual client needs and build long-term relationships.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Meet and exceed sales goals and KPI targets through proactive selling, sampling and client follow-up.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory management and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized and inviting.
- Stay current on beauty trends, brand launches and techniques to provide relevant, timely advice.
- Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team environment and uphold Sephora’s operational and safety standards.
- Be available for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays and maintain punctuality and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment preferred.
- Demonstrable passion for beauty products, trends and consumer education.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport quickly.
- Team-oriented attitude with the capacity to work toward collective sales objectives.
- Quick learner able to absorb product training and translate knowledge into client recommendations.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail or client-facing experience is preferred but not required. Successful candidates demonstrate strong customer service aptitude and the ability to develop client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
