Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet individual client needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Stay abreast of beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques to ensure relevant client advice.
- Drive sales performance and achieve assigned KPIs through clienteling and conversion-focused service.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, organized selling environment.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture and uphold Sephora policies to create a safe, welcoming shopping experience.
- Adhere to flexible scheduling requirements and maintain punctuality and reliable attendance during peak retail hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience providing excellent customer service in retail, hospitality or other client-facing environments preferred.
- Passion for beauty, product trends and helping clients build confidence.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach.
- Ability to learn quickly and share product knowledge with colleagues and clients.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform typical retail tasks.
- Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required; must meet minimum weekly shift/hour commitments for flex scheduling.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience is preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent service and build client relationships is valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary coursework or certification in cosmetology, aesthetics or beauty is a plus.
