Sephora in Emeryville, CA is hiring a Part-time Beauty Advisor (Flex) to deliver personalized consultations and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across makeup, skincare, fragrance and beauty tools to educate and empower clients.
- Drive sales performance and meet or exceed store KPIs through proactive clienteling and product merchandising.
- Maintain store presentation: support inventory activities, replenish merchandise, and ensure a clean, inviting salesfloor.
- Stay current with beauty trends and new product launches to provide timely, relevant advice.
- Support a collaborative, inclusive team environment and adhere to company policies to ensure a safe shopping experience.
- Be reliably available for scheduled shifts, including peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays), and meet minimum weekly hours for the Flex program.
Qualifications
- Passion for beauty, trends and client empowerment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a service-first mindset.
- Ability to build rapport and long-term client relationships in a retail or client-facing environment.
- Reliable availability for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays; ability to meet minimum weekly shift requirements.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
Entry-level role; prior experience in retail, hospitality or a client-focused environment preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service is valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
