Sephora El Paso (TX) is hiring a Part-Time Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized consultations and drive sales at the Cielo Vista store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and bespoke product recommendations to clients, tailoring solutions to skin tone, concerns and lifestyle.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate and inspire clients through live demonstrations and sampling.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators through proactive clienteling and conversion.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory processes, and ensure the sales floor and display areas are organized and welcoming.
- Stay current on beauty trends, new launches and application techniques to provide relevant, up-to-date advice.
- Adhere to company policies and safety standards while promoting an inclusive, collaborative store culture.
- Meet scheduling requirements for the assigned part-time band (15–29 hours/week), with availability for peak retail periods including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Customer-focused mindset with demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional service in retail, hospitality or client-facing roles.
- Enthusiasm for beauty, trends, and product learning with the ability to communicate confidence-building recommendations.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to build rapport and long-term client relationships.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality and flexibility to work peak retail shifts; must satisfy the minimum weekly hours for part-time scheduling.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; previous experience in retail, hospitality or other client-facing environments is preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets is valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional cosmetology, beauty or product training advantageous.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16.60 to USD 19.30 per hour.
