Sephora Canada Beauty Advisor position in Edmonton. Flexible part-time or as-needed shifts, CAD $17–$20/hr, retail cosmetics sales role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's needs and preferences
- Demonstrate comprehensive product expertise and educate clients on beauty techniques, trends, and offerings
- Maintain current knowledge of latest beauty products, techniques, and industry trends to provide relevant and timely advice
- Drive sales results and exceed key performance indicators set by Sephora Canada
- Support inventory management, merchandising activities, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming retail environment
- Foster an inclusive, team-oriented culture that empowers colleagues and clients
- Uphold Sephora Canada policies and standards to ensure a safe, secure shopping experience
- Meet flexible scheduling requirements including availability during peak retail operations (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Qualifications
- Previous experience delivering excellent service and building strong client relationships in retail, hospitality, or client-focused environments
- Demonstrated passion for beauty, trends, and empowering customer confidence
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Team player with collaborative, goal-oriented mindset in inclusive environments
- Ability to quickly absorb and share product knowledge
- Physical capability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
Skills
Experience
Entry-level to beginner; previous retail, hospitality, or client-service experience preferred but not required for those demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and passion for beauty.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; beauty or cosmetics formal certification not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
