Sephora is hiring a part-time Beauty Advisor in Düsseldorf on a permanent contract. The role combines customer advice and sales across beauty categories with short services, beauty-class support, merchandising, stock and inventory tasks, cash-register operation, and monitoring retail KPIs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Actively support and advise customers across makeup, skincare, hair care and fragrance departments, including on beauty trends.
- Deliver the Sephora Attitude: welcoming, knowing and closing.
- Sell products through in-depth product knowledge and build customer relationships on an equal footing.
- Share knowledge of products, trends and beauty news.
- Provide short services across all departments.
- Support beauty classes.
- Ensure product presentation follows visual merchandising specifications.
- Maintain the assortment and merchandise.
- Keep the sales floor fully stocked and prepare products for sale.
- Clean fixtures and products on the sales floor.
- Store and replenish goods in the stockroom and on the sales floor.
- Support the implementation of merchandising updates.
- Carry out inventories.
- Operate the cash register.
- Handle additional tasks related to daily business.
- Monitor conversion rate, items per basket, average basket, customer feedback and satisfaction, and number of services.
Qualifications
- Comparable experience or an interest in beauty, cosmetics, retail, fashion or gastronomy.
- Some experience in retail and in advising and serving customers.
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the beauty industry and trends.
- Fluent in English or the country's native language.
