Beauty Advisor (Full-time) at Sephora in Düsseldorf — client-facing retail role delivering product advice, services and merchandising.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, personalised client consultations and in-store services across make-up, skincare and fragrance categories.
  • Drive sales through active client engagement, product demonstrations and short-service offerings; meet conversion and basket-value KPIs.
  • Support and participate in beauty classes, promotional events and experiential merchandising activities.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation according to brand guidelines; ensure the sales floor is fully stocked and orderly.
  • Manage stock replenishment, warehousing activities and assist with inventories and merchandising updates.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system and execute cash register transactions accurately.
  • Monitor and contribute to retail performance metrics (conversion rate, items per basket, average basket, number of services) and provide customer feedback to management.

Qualifications

  • Professional, friendly and client-focused demeanour with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, organised and able to work collaboratively within a retail team.
  • Interest in or comparable experience within beauty, cosmetics, retail, fashion or hospitality sectors.
  • Prior retail or customer-advisory experience preferred; demonstrable ability to consult clients and close sales.
  • Good knowledge of current beauty trends and product categories.
  • Fluent in English (or fluent in the country’s native language) with excellent verbal communication.
