Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized, one-to-one beauty consultations and product recommendations that address each client’s needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge through live demonstrations and expert advice across makeup, skincare and fragrance categories.
  • Maintain awareness of beauty trends, new launches and application techniques to provide up-to-date recommendations.
  • Consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and clienteling.
  • Support store merchandising, inventory accuracy and visual standards to ensure a clean, organized and welcoming environment.
  • Foster an inclusive team environment, promote Sephora’s values, and adhere to company policies to ensure a safe shopping experience.
  • Be available for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends and holidays, and maintain punctuality and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience with demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and product innovation with an enthusiasm for educating clients.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport and long-term client relationships.
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative, goal-driven retail environments.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work required weekly shifts for a part‑time schedule, including peak retail hours.

Experience
