Sephora is hiring a full-time Beauty Advisor in Dongguan, China. Deliver makeup, skincare and fragrance consultations and meet store sales targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional consultations in makeup, skincare and fragrance to meet individual customer needs and elevate overall guest satisfaction.
- Achieve store sales targets and key performance indicators through proactive selling, product recommendations and loyalty/CRM-driven follow-up.
- Operate the point-of-sale according to company cashiering SOPs, accurately process transactions and execute promotions and gift-with-purchase policies.
- Manage product displays and visual standards: replenish merchandise, maintain tester hygiene, and ensure shelving meets Sephora visual guidelines.
- Execute inventory duties including receiving, returns, cycle counts and FIFO control to preserve stock accuracy and minimise shrinkage.
- Participate in required brand and corporate training programmes, share knowledge with peers and contribute to individual development plans.
- Comply with hygiene regulations, CRM policies and all company rules; complete ad hoc tasks assigned by store management.

- Demonstrated enthusiasm for cosmetics, beauty and fashion industries.
- Positive, proactive attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and complete required training and assessments.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively with store colleagues.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; previous retail or cosmetics sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience with sales targets, POS systems and visual merchandising is a plus.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
