Sephora Beauty Advisor (Part-Time) | Dartford, UK | Client Experience & Store Operations Role
Role & Responsibilities
- Educate customers on makeup application techniques, skincare routines, and product benefits to build confidence and enhance their retail experience
- Stay current with beauty trends, new product launches, and Sephora's comprehensive product assortment across exclusive and owned brands
- Provide expert, technically grounded product guidance across makeup, skincare, and fragrance categories
- Drive sales performance by proactively engaging customers, identifying upselling opportunities, and promoting Sephora's loyalty programme
- Process transactions accurately and maintain a clean, organized cash area at all times
- Receive, check, and organize deliveries; support stock counts and maintain precise inventory records
- Replenish stock promptly and ensure product displays are visually appealing, removing expired or damaged merchandise
- Support visual merchandising updates and promotional displays to inspire and engage customers
- Collaborate with Beauty Advisor colleagues to share best practices and participate in team training sessions
- Assist with new store opening activities including unboxing, organizing, and preparing merchandise where applicable
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail, customer service, or store operations, including cash handling and stock management
- Strong passion for makeup, skincare, and fragrance with product knowledge and application technique experience
- Warm interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful client connections
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Physical capability to lift and carry boxes, stand for extended periods, and perform related tasks
- Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional service and personalized recommendations
- Target-driven mindset with desire to exceed performance expectations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
