Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, consultative beauty experiences and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs.
- Demonstrate and communicate deep product knowledge to educate and empower clients across makeup, skincare and fragrance.
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators through effective selling and client follow-up.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, organized, welcoming sales floor.
- Keep current with beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant, up-to-date advice.
- Contribute to an inclusive, team-oriented culture and uphold Sephora’s operational, safety and customer-service standards.
- Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays, and reliably meet required weekly shift commitments.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service in retail, hospitality or other client-facing environments; entry-level candidates with strong potential will be considered.
- Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative selling approach.
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment.
- Ability to learn quickly and retain product and technique knowledge.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; previous retail or client-facing experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and provide high-quality service is valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
