Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized in-store beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs.
- Demonstrate and communicate product knowledge to educate and empower clients across makeup, skincare and fragrance.
- Remain current on beauty trends, product launches and techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding store KPIs and individual sales targets.
- Support merchandising and inventory tasks to ensure an organized, well-stocked and inviting retail environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service that fosters inclusivity and repeat business.
- Adhere to Sephora policies and safety standards to create a secure and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Maintain reliability and flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holiday shifts as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience providing excellent client service in retail, hospitality or other client-facing roles preferred.
- Genuine passion for beauty products, trends and helping clients feel confident.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative team player with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Rapid learner able to assimilate and share product knowledge effectively.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work a part-time schedule (15–29 hours/week) including peak retail times.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level. Prior retail, hospitality or client-facing experience is preferred but not required; the role is suitable for candidates beginning a career in beauty retail.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
