Sephora Columbia, SC seeks a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor at Trenholm Plaza — deliver personalised beauty consultations. $16.60–$19.30/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised in-store beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet individual client needs.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate and empower clients on application and routines.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and client follow-up.
  • Maintain store standards including merchandising, inventory management, visual presentation and cleanliness.
  • Remain current on beauty trends, new product launches and category knowledge to ensure relevant client advice.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team environment and uphold company policies for a safe, welcoming shopping experience.
  • Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays as required by peak retail operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a client-service environment preferred.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and an ability to translate product knowledge into client confidence.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality; ability to meet minimum weekly shift requirements.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required.
