Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs to build long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance and educate clients on application, ingredients and routines.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and effective clienteling.
  • Maintain visual standards: support merchandising, inventory management, stock replenishment and a clean, organized sales floor.
  • Stay current with beauty trends, product launches and techniques to provide relevant, up-to-date advice.
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative team environment and uphold Sephora’s customer service and safety standards.
  • Adhere to scheduled shifts, provide reliable attendance and be available for peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or other client-facing roles preferred; entry-level candidates with a strong customer-service aptitude will be considered.
  • Demonstrable passion for beauty, trends and product knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Team-oriented mindset and the ability to work in a goal-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays and meet the role’s minimum weekly hours.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
