Sephora seeks a part-time Beauty Advisor in Chicago to deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations, share beauty expertise, support sales goals, and maintain an inclusive, welcoming store environment. This is a permanent, regular position with flexible scheduling: part-time roles require 15–29 hours per week, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and provide personalized beauty experiences through tailored consultations and product recommendations that address their needs.
• Demonstrate product expertise by sharing knowledge that educates and empowers clients.
• Stay current on beauty products, techniques, and trends to provide relevant advice.
• Work toward exceeding sales goals and key performance indicators.
• Support inventory and merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming environment.
• Promote an inclusive culture where everyone feels empowered and contribute to teamwork.
• Follow company policies and help provide a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours.
• Be available during peak retail periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment.
• Passion for beauty, trends, and empowering confidence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive as a team player in a collaborative, goal-oriented, and inclusive environment.
• Ability to learn quickly and absorb and share product knowledge.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.80 to USD 22.90 per hour.
