Sephora is hiring a part-time Beauty Advisor at its Southport store in Chicago to provide personalized consultations, expert product recommendations, and trend-informed beauty advice while supporting sales, merchandising, inventory, and an inclusive shopping environment. The permanent, regular position offers 15–29 hours per week, with flexible scheduling requirements and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and deliver personalized beauty experiences through tailored consultations and product recommendations.
• Demonstrate product expertise, sharing knowledge to educate and empower clients in their beauty journeys.
• Stay current with beauty products, techniques, and trends to provide relevant advice.
• Exceed sales goals and key performance indicators.
• Support inventory and merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming store environment.
• Promote an inclusive culture where everyone feels empowered and contribute to teamwork.
• Follow company policies and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Meet the minimum number of weekly shifts and hours required for the role.
• Be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment.
• Passion for beauty, trends, and empowering confidence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive as a team player in a collaborative, goal-oriented, and inclusive environment.
• Ability to learn quickly and absorb and share product knowledge.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.80 to USD 22.90 per hour.
