Sephora seeks a part-time Beauty Advisor in Chicago (Lincoln Park) to deliver personalized consultations; pay $19.80–$26.00/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized one-to-one beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet client needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare, fragrance and haircare; educate and empower clients on product usage and routines.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, product launches and techniques to provide relevant, timely advice.
  • Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling, upselling and clienteling.
  • Support merchandising, inventory accuracy and visual standards to ensure a clean, organized and inviting store environment.
  • Uphold company policies and safety standards to create a secure and welcoming shopping experience.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team culture and provide reliable coverage during peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a comparable service environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service and build lasting client relationships.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and continuous learning.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable availability for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
