Sephora is hiring a part-time Beauty Advisor in Carlsbad, CA — provide personalized consultations and drive sales in a fast-paced retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized one-to-one beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet individual client needs.
  • Demonstrate product expertise through hands-on demonstrations, tutorials and education to empower clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
  • Drive sales performance and achieve store KPIs through consultative selling and client follow-up.
  • Support merchandising, inventory tasks and maintain a clean, organized and welcoming retail environment.
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative team culture and adhere to Sephora operational standards and policies.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays, and meet required weekly shift commitments.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience preferred; demonstrated ability to deliver excellent service and build client relationships.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative service approach.
  • Ability to learn quickly, retain product knowledge and share recommendations effectively.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and remain on feet for extended periods.
  • Reliable punctuality and consistent attendance; availability for peak retail hours.

Experience
