Sephora in Canton, CT is hiring a part-time Beauty Advisor. Hourly pay $19.80–$22.90/hr; inclusive, client-focused retail role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-to-one, personalised consultations and product recommendations that address each client’s needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and technique to educate and empower clients across makeup, skincare and fragrance categories.
  • Maintain awareness of beauty trends and new product launches to provide relevant, timely advice.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs through proactive client engagement, upselling and cross-selling.
  • Support merchandising, stock replenishment and inventory accuracy to ensure a tidy, on-brand salesfloor.
  • Ensure a welcoming, inclusive and safe retail experience by adhering to Sephora policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous client-facing retail, hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
  • Passion for beauty, product trends and confidence-building client interactions.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented mindset.
  • Reliable availability for required shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
