Sephora Canada seeks a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor in Calgary, AB — provide personalized beauty consultations and sell makeup, skincare and fragrance (CAD$17–20/hr).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized beauty consultations and product recommendations that address each client's needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
  • Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators through proactive client engagement and follow-up.
  • Support store merchandising, inventory processes and visual presentation to ensure an attractive, organized retail environment.
  • Contribute to an inclusive team culture by collaborating with colleagues and supporting store standards, safety and policies.
  • Be available for scheduled shifts during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays) and maintain punctual attendance.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a similar service environment preferred; demonstrated ability to build client relationships.
  • Passion for beauty, cosmetics and current industry trends.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative approach.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a results-driven attitude and comfort working toward sales targets.
  • Ability to learn product knowledge quickly and confidently share recommendations.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform retail tasks for extended periods.
  • Availability to meet part-time shift requirements (typically 15–29 hours/week) including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Experience

Compensation
