Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized in‑store consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet each client's beauty needs.
- Demonstrate product expertise and conduct product demonstrations to educate and empower clients.
- Monitor and apply current beauty trends and techniques to provide relevant advice and maintain client loyalty.
- Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding individual sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Support merchandising, inventory management, and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor.
- Uphold company policies and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and customer‑focused shopping environment.
- Be reliably available for flexible scheduling, including peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays).
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a client‑facing environment with demonstrated customer service ability.
- Genuine passion for beauty, cosmetics and skincare trends with an eagerness to learn and share product knowledge.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport and long‑term client relationships.
- Collaborative team player who performs well in a goal‑oriented, inclusive environment.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and performing standing, bending, and merchandising tasks.
- Reliable punctuality and consistent attendance; availability for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Skills
Experience
Entry‑level role; previous retail or client‑service experience is preferred but not required. Suitable for candidates at the beginning of their beauty retail career.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
