Sephora Canada — Beauty Advisor (Flex) in Calgary (Signal Hill). Part-time hourly role paying CAD$17–20/hr; client-facing retail position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations that address each client's unique needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise through in-store demonstrations, application techniques and education to empower client purchase decisions.
- Maintain awareness of beauty trends, new product launches and brand portfolio strengths to ensure relevant client advice.
- Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding individual sales goals and key performance indicators.
- Support merchandising and inventory activities to ensure a clean, organized and visually compelling store environment.
- Adhere to company policies and operational standards to create a safe, secure and inclusive shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience delivering strong client service in retail, hospitality or other client-facing environments.
- Genuine passion for beauty, trends and helping clients build confidence through product education.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Reliable availability for peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays; punctual and consistent attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required by merchandising and inventory tasks.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level; prior retail or client-facing experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service and build client relationships is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Cosmetology, esthetics or beauty-related certification considered an asset.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
