Sephora Canada — Burnaby: Part-time Beauty Advisor at Metropolis (Kingsway); hourly pay CAD 18.85–23.55/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet individual client needs.
  • Demonstrate and communicate product knowledge to educate and empower clients across makeup, skincare and fragrance.
  • Stay current with beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
  • Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding daily/weekly sales goals and KPIs.
  • Support merchandising, inventory control and maintain a clean, well-organized and visually appealing sales floor.
  • Foster an inclusive, team-oriented environment and adhere to Sephora Canada policies and service standards.
  • Be available for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays; maintain punctuality and reliable attendance.
  • Physically handle stock and displays, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds when required.

Qualifications

  • Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or similar service environment preferred.
  • Passion for beauty, cosmetics and trends, with the drive to empower client confidence.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Team-oriented mindset and comfort working in a collaborative, target-driven environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain product knowledge for effective client coaching.
  • Physically able to perform stock-handling duties (up to 50 lbs).
  • Availability to work a minimum of 15–29 hours per week for the part-time schedule and to cover peak retail periods.

Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics or beauty-specific certification is an asset.

The successful candidate will be located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, with easy access to Vancouver.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.85 to CAD 23.55 per hour.
