Sephora Canada seeks a Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations in a flexible part-time retail role. The position involves demonstrating product expertise, staying current with beauty trends, driving sales performance, and maintaining store standards while fostering an inclusive shopping environment. Flexible scheduling available with 0–14 hours per week as needed; compensation ranges from CAD $18.20–$21.40 per hour plus performance-based bonus opportunities and competitive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's individual needs
- Demonstrate comprehensive product expertise and educate clients on beauty techniques and applications
- Monitor and stay current with latest beauty products, trends, and industry innovations to provide relevant advice
- Achieve and exceed sales goals and key performance indicators set by Sephora Canada
- Support inventory management, merchandising activities, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming retail environment
- Promote a culture of inclusivity, openness, and teamwork where all clients and colleagues feel empowered
- Uphold Sephora Canada policies and standards to ensure a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience
Qualifications
- Previous retail, hospitality, or client-focused service experience with demonstrated ability to develop strong client relationships
- Genuine passion for beauty, cosmetics, and trend forecasting with desire to empower customer confidence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
- Team player who thrives in collaborative, goal-oriented, and inclusive environments
- Quick learner capable of absorbing and sharing product knowledge effectively
- Ability to physically lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Availability for flexible scheduling during peak retail operations including nights, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
Entry-level or beginner experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles; prior beauty industry experience is valued but not required. Demonstrated track record of delivering excellent service and building meaningful client relationships is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional beauty industry certifications or cosmetics training are advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation
