Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized beauty consultations and product recommendations that address each client's needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge and application techniques to educate and empower clients.
- Stay current on industry trends, new launches and techniques to provide relevant, authoritative advice.
- Drive sales performance and achieve store KPIs through consultative selling and client relationship building.
- Maintain merchandising standards, assist with inventory processes and ensure a clean, organized sales floor.
- Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team culture and uphold Sephora’s operational and safety standards.
- Work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet peak retail demand.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience with demonstrable customer service ability (preferred but not required).
- Passion for beauty products, trends and a desire to build client confidence.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative selling approach.
- Team-oriented attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Quick learner with the capacity to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable availability for required weekly shifts and peak trading hours.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; prior experience in retail, hospitality, or another client-facing environment is preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop client relationships is valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
