Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s skin type, preferences and lifestyle.
- Demonstrate product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Stay current on beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and clienteling.
- Support merchandising, inventory processes and maintain a clean, organized and visually appealing sales floor.
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative team environment and uphold Sephora’s customer service standards.
- Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as required by retail peak periods.
- Perform light physical tasks including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a service environment preferred.
- Demonstrated passion for beauty, trends and client empowerment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
- Collaborative team player with a goal-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Fast learner able to absorb and share product information effectively.
- Availability to meet the minimum weekly shift requirements for a part-time schedule (15–29 hrs/week) and work peak hours.
Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail or client-service experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to deliver exceptional customer service and adapt quickly in a high‑volume retail setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
