Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized one‑on‑one consultations and product recommendations to meet client needs and build long‑term relationships.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding store KPIs and individual sales targets.
- Stay current on beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Support merchandising, inventory management and maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor.
- Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team environment and uphold Sephora’s customer service standards and safety policies.
- Adhere to scheduled shifts and ensure punctuality; be available for peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Previous client‑facing experience in retail, hospitality or a beauty environment preferred.
- Demonstrable passion for beauty, trends and product knowledge.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a goal‑driven approach to sales.
- Availability to meet minimum weekly shift requirements and to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
Entry‑level position; prior retail, hospitality, or client‑facing experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology or beauty certification is a plus.
