Sephora is hiring a Part-Time Beauty Advisor in Brooklyn, NY — provide personalised consultations and drive sales at the Downtown Brooklyn store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet individual client needs.
- Demonstrate product expertise across cosmetics, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques.
- Drive sales performance and exceed daily/weekly KPIs through client engagement and conversion.
- Support inventory management, merchandising standards and ensure the space is clean, organised and visually compelling.
- Foster an inclusive team environment that promotes collaboration and excellent client service.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain a safe, secure shopping experience for clients and colleagues.
- Be available for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends and holidays, and meet minimum weekly shift requirements.
Qualifications
- Prior retail, hospitality or client-facing experience preferred with a demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding service.
- Passion for beauty, trends and client education.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative team player with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Quick learner able to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable punctual attendance and ability to meet scheduling commitments (peak retail hours).
