Sephora Brooklyn is hiring a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized consultations and drive sales. Hourly pay $21.75–$24.88/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to each client.
- Educate and empower clients through product demonstrations and knowledge of applications, ingredients and routines.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of beauty trends, new launches and techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Drive sales performance by meeting individual and store KPIs and contributing to team targets.
- Support merchandising, inventory management and stock replenishment to ensure a clean, organized and shoppable environment.
- Uphold company policies and standards to ensure a safe, welcoming experience for clients and colleagues.
- Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, and meet the minimum weekly shift requirements for part-time schedules.
Qualifications
- Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a related service environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service and build client relationships.
- Passion for beauty, trends and product knowledge with a desire to continuously learn.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative team orientation.
- Availability for flexible scheduling (part-time: 15–29 hrs/week) and reliable attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
Entry-level role; prior experience in retail, hospitality or other client-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrable customer service and relationship-building ability is valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetology or relevant retail certifications are a plus but not required.
