Sephora (King's Plaza, Brooklyn) is hiring a Part-Time Beauty Advisor — hourly $21.75–$24.88; client-focused beauty consultations and retail sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored, one-to-one beauty consultations and product recommendations to meet individual client needs.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Stay informed on beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Drive sales performance by achieving individual and store KPIs through consultative selling and clienteling.
- Support merchandising, inventory management and visual presentation to maintain a clean, organized sales floor.
- Adhere to Sephora operational standards, company policies and a safe, welcoming shopping environment.
- Maintain flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays, and meet required weekly shift minimums.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships in retail, hospitality or other client-facing roles.
- Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented and collaborative.
- Quick learner with the ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable punctuality and consistent attendance; availability for peak retail hours.

Experience
Entry-level role; previous retail, hospitality or client-focused experience is preferred but not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetology or beauty certifications are a plus.
