Sephora in Boston is hiring a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor — deliver personalized consultations, product expertise and drive sales. $21.75–$28.00/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized in-store beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet individual client needs.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, new launches and application techniques to ensure relevant advice.
  • Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding store KPIs and individual sales targets.
  • Support merchandising, stock management and visual standards to ensure a clean, organized and inviting sales floor.
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative environment and uphold Sephora policies to create a safe, welcoming shopping experience.
  • Ensure reliable attendance and flexibility to work peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or client-facing roles demonstrating excellent customer service and relationship building.
  • Genuine passion for beauty, trends and educating clients.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; strong team orientation.
  • Flexibility to meet scheduling requirements for part-time shifts (15–29 hrs/week) and availability during peak retail periods.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift or carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
