Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised in‑store consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs.
- Demonstrate product expertise and educate clients on makeup, skincare and beauty techniques.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and clienteling.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of beauty trends, launches and techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Support merchandising, inventory processes and ensure a pristine, inviting sales floor presentation.
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative team culture and contribute positively to store morale.
- Follow Sephora policies and procedures to ensure a safe, secure and compliant shopping environment.
- Adhere to scheduling requirements, maintain punctuality and be available for peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
Qualifications
- Entry‑level or prior experience in retail, hospitality or other client‑facing environments preferred.
- Demonstrable passion for beauty, trends and client empowerment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative, goal‑oriented and inclusive environment.
- Fast learner with the ability to acquire and share product knowledge quickly.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform routine retail duties.
- Availability to meet the role’s minimum weekly hours for part‑time schedules (15–29 hrs/week) and flexibility for peak periods.
Skills
Experience
Entry‑level; previous retail, hospitality or client‑facing experience is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and meet sales objectives is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
