Sephora Berkeley is hiring a Beauty Advisor (Flex) in Berkeley, CA — part-time hourly role $22.60–$26.00/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations to meet each client’s needs and beauty goals.
- Demonstrate product expertise and educate clients on makeup, skincare and fragrance applications and routines.
- Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding daily and weekly KPIs and fostering repeat business.
- Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory activities and ensure a clean, organized and welcoming salesfloor.
- Stay current with beauty trends, product launches and techniques to provide relevant, compelling advice.
- Uphold company policies and create a safe, inclusive shopping experience for clients and colleagues.
- Work flexible schedules during peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, and meet minimum weekly shift requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience providing excellent service and building client relationships in retail, hospitality or a client-facing role.
- Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable conducting one-on-one consultations.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a goal-oriented team environment.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform routine merchandising tasks.
- Availability for flexible scheduling (nights, weekends, holidays) and ability to meet minimum weekly hours for the Flex program.

Experience
Entry-level; prior retail or hospitality experience demonstrating strong client service and sales aptitude is preferred but not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
