The Beauty Advisor provides makeup, skincare and fragrance consultations, delivers Sephora-standard customer service and supports store sales goals. The role also covers training, visual merchandising, cashiering, stock management and other duties assigned by store management; it is a full-time, on-site store position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide professional advice on makeup, skincare and fragrance.
- Deliver high-quality service in line with Sephora’s service philosophy to improve customer satisfaction, while following hygiene rules and procedures.
- Welcome customers in line with company makeup and uniform standards; understand their needs, recommend suitable products and support sales targets using store goals and key KPIs.
- Complete required foundational training and assessments, build product knowledge through brand, regional and in-store training, share experience with colleagues, and create an individual development plan.
- Prepare and replenish product displays in the assigned area; keep shelves and drawers clean, maintain Sephora visual standards, monitor tester cleanliness and usage, report issues to management, and implement quarterly promotional displays.
- Process customer purchases according to cashiering procedures and standard operating procedures, apply promotional gift-with-purchase policies correctly, follow CRM policies and procedures, and help safeguard store cash.
- Process deliveries, returns and stock counts accurately; follow first-in, first-out and near-expiry stock procedures to reduce store losses, and implement warehouse 5S policies.
- Comply with company policies and regulations and complete additional tasks assigned by the Store Manager.
- Participate in cashiering, merchandise management and display activities, as assigned by the Store Manager, in support of daily store operations.
