The Beauty Advisor at Sephora delivers personalized consultations and product recommendations, shares beauty expertise, supports sales goals, inventory and merchandising, and helps maintain an inclusive, welcoming store. This flexible, part-time position has non-guaranteed hours, with 4–14 hours per week; availability for nights, weekends and holidays is required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty experiences through tailored consultations and product recommendations that meet each client’s needs.
- Demonstrate product expertise by sharing knowledge to educate and empower clients in their beauty journey.
- Stay current with the latest beauty products, techniques, and trends to provide relevant advice.
- Exceed sales goals and key performance indicators.
- Support inventory and merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming environment.
- Promote an inclusive culture where everyone feels empowered.
- Follow company policies and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours.
- Be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

- Previous experience and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment.
- Passion for beauty, trends, and empowering confidence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to learn quickly and absorb and share product knowledge.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment; beginner-level experience indicated.

The successful candidate will be located in Beachwood, Ohio, USA, with easy access to Cleveland.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18 to USD 20.50 per hour.
