Sephora is hiring a Beauty Advisor for a 70% temporary role in Basel, starting 1 November 2026 and covering November and December 2026. The role supports and advises customers across beauty departments, provides short services, maintains visual merchandising and product availability, and manages stock.
Role & Responsibilities
- Actively support and advise customers across all departments: makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrance.
- Share knowledge of products, trends and news from the beauty world.
- Provide short services across all departments.
- Ensure product presentation meets visual merchandising guidelines.
- Keep the sales floor fully stocked and prepare products for sale.
- Manage stock and replenish merchandise in the stockroom and on the sales floor.
Qualifications
- Comparable experience or interest in beauty, cosmetics, retail, fashion or hospitality.
- Initial experience in retail, customer advice and customer interaction.
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the beauty industry and trends.
- Fluent English or fluency in the local language.
