Sephora Canada seeks a part-time Beauty Advisor in Barrie, ON. Deliver personalised consultations, support merchandising and achieve sales targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet clients’ individual needs.
- Demonstrate product expertise and educate clients on makeup, skincare and fragrance usage.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, new launches and application techniques to inform selling.
- Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and client follow-up.
- Support merchandising, inventory management and maintain a clean, inviting salesfloor presentation.
- Uphold company policies and standards to ensure a safe, secure and inclusive shopping experience.
- Be available for scheduled shifts during peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience preferred, with demonstrated customer-service aptitude.
- Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
- Team-oriented mindset with a results-driven approach.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing tasks for extended periods.
- Reliable availability to meet required weekly shift minimums for part-time scheduling (15–29 hrs/week).

Entry-level position; previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience is preferred but not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; formal beauty, cosmetology or esthetician training is an asset.

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.20 to CAD 21.40 per hour.
