The part-time Beauty Advisor at Sephora’s Arboretum store in Austin delivers personalized consultations and product recommendations, shares product knowledge, supports sales goals, and helps maintain store standards and an inclusive client experience. This is a permanent, regular position with hourly pay; part-time schedules require 15–29 hours per week, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized beauty experiences through tailored consultations and product recommendations that meet each client’s needs.
• Demonstrate product expertise by sharing knowledge that educates and empowers clients in their beauty journey.
• Keep up with the latest beauty products, techniques, and trends to provide relevant advice.
• Exceed sales goals and key performance indicators.
• Support inventory and merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming environment.
• Promote an inclusive culture where everyone feels empowered, and collaborate with the team.
• Follow company policies and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours; be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays; maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment.
• Passion for beauty, trends, and empowering confidence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive as a team player in a collaborative, goal-oriented, and inclusive environment.
• Ability to learn quickly, absorb product knowledge, and share it with clients.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.80 to USD 22.90 per hour.
